Terms of Service
Welcome to Active Alexandra LTD trading as Alex Nixon Coaching. By purchasing and participating in our coaching services, including group coaching and 1:1 coaching, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
We offer coaching programmes tailored to your health and fitness goals. These include:
- Group Coaching: Structured programmes designed for multiple participants with a shared goal, focusing on guidance, support, and accountability in a group setting.
- 1:1 Coaching: Personalised coaching tailored to your specific goals, with individualised support and strategies.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older to participate in our coaching programmes.
- By enrolling, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the program.
- You must complete your PAR-Q during onboarding before you can begin.
3. Coaching Commitment
Our coaching programmes require active participation, including:
- Following the advice and strategies provided.
- Completing check-ins and responding to communication from your coach.
- Communicating any concerns or challenges so adjustments can be made to your plan.
Please note: Results depend on your effort and consistency; we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
4. Payment and Refund Policy
- Group Coaching: Payment must be made in full at the time of enrolment unless otherwise specified.
- 1:1 Coaching: Payment will be monthly, the first payment must be received before the program starts.
Refunds:
- No refunds will be issued once the programme begins, as this is a service-based product.
- If wanting a refund prior to accessing the programme or any of it's supporting documentation, this will be provided on discretion minus any payment processing and admin fees.
- If you choose to terminate coaching early, any remaining payments in a plan must still be completed unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
For 1:1 Coaching Rescheduling:
Your allocated check-in day is reserved specifically for you each week. If you need to reschedule your check-in day, please provide at least one week’s notice to arrange an alternative. Rescheduling requests made with less than one week’s notice may not be accommodated.
If you choose not to check in on your designated day without prior notice, a full response may not be provided, as this disrupts the structured support system in place for all clients.
Missed Check-Ins:
Missed check-ins without prior communication cannot be rescheduled or refunded. This ensures fairness and consistency for all clients.
Holidays:
If You Go on Holiday: If you are going on holiday or unable to participate in your coaching programme for a period of time, please provide at least two week’s notice so adjustments can be made to your check-ins, programming, or other support. Coaching continues during your holiday unless otherwise agreed upon, and missed check-ins without prior notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.
If I Go on Holiday: If I am unavailable for coaching or check-ins due to a holiday, you will be notified at least two weeks in advance. Any impacted check-ins will be rescheduled, and you will receive a clear plan for maintaining your progress during my absence.
In the event of an emergency on my side:
- I will notify you as soon as possible and provide alternate arrangements for check-ins.
In the event of an emergency on your side:
- Please notify me as soon as possible so adjustments can be made to your coaching plan.
Missed check-ins due to emergencies may be rescheduled at my discretion.
6. Confidentiality
We value your privacy. Any personal information shared during coaching sessions will remain confidential.
- You agree not to share or disclose information about other participants in group coaching sessions.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials, including but not limited to workout plans, nutrition guides, and coaching strategies, are the property of Alex Nixon Coaching.
- These materials are provided for your personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
8. Liability Disclaimer
You acknowledge that participation in coaching involves physical activity, which may carry risks.
- By enrolling, you assume full responsibility for your health and well-being during the programme.
- You agree to release Alex Nixon Coaching and your coach from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages incurred while participating in the program.
If you have any medical concerns, consult with your healthcare provider before beginning.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your access to coaching services if:
- You fail to meet payment obligations.
- You exhibit behavior that disrupts the coaching environment.
No refunds will be issued in these cases.
10. Communication
Most communication will be conducted via the coaching app Everfit, email, WhatsApp or other specified platforms. It is your responsibility to ensure you can access these channels.
1:1 Coaching:
For 1:1 coaching clients, I will respond to your messages directly within business hours, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (GMT). You can expect to receive a response within 48 hours during these times. This ensures I can provide thoughtful and thorough feedback to support your progress.
Group Coaching:
For group coaching clients, questions and feedback will be addressed during the weekly live Zoom call. This dedicated time allows for group discussion, guidance, and accountability. If you are unable to attend the live session, you can submit your questions beforehand, and the answers will be covered during the call.
This structure helps maintain effective communication and ensures every client receives the guidance they need while keeping our interactions productive and focused. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
